Adverse Reactions to Treatment

If your animal has been adversely affected after the use of a medicine, seek advice from your veterinarian, who will assess the situation and determine any need for further treatment.

If the reaction is considered to have been associated with the use of a veterinary medicine, you or your veterinarian should report the matter to the registrant of the product (refer to the contact details on the product label).

Complete an adverse event report form, providing as much history as possible and any related information such as previous cases and email, post or fax the form back to New Zealand Food Safety Authority.
