Information for Employing Young People

If you are planning to employ a young person, make sure you are aware of your additional legal obligations including age restrictions on dangerous work  outlined in Part 5 of the Health and Safety in Employment Regulations 1995.

Use the form to produce a fact-sheet for your own reference and provide a copy to your employee so they are aware of any restrictions in place at work.

If you have your own system of training young people ensure you are aware of your additional responsibilities for keeping young people safe on farm.
