Information for Employing Young People

While you may not be employing a young person on a full-time permanent basis, remember that more young people are working and visiting workplaces during the school holidays. It's important to remember that they may not know all they need to know to keep safe and healthy at work .

It's the employer's duty to provide a safe workplace, including  information about hazards, proper training, supervision and equipment, and employees have responsibilities for keeping themselves and other safe.
